Precautions for your next KTA Visit

Before shopping with us at any KTA Super Stores location, please be prepared with the following precautions:

  • MASK UP! Proper Face Masks/Coverings/Shields are required for all customers 2 years of age and older. (Children younger than 2 years of age are exempt from this requirement per CDC guidelines)

    Face mask/coverings must cover both the nose and mouth securely at all times on KTA premises. As recommended by the CDC, Face masks must be:
    - Put it over your nose and mouth and secure it under your chin.
    - Fit it snugly against the sides of your face

     If a customer is unable to wear a face mask due to medical reasons, a face shield, which covers the nose and mouth, must be used.

    Masks with vents or mesh is not acceptable. Please see infographic for acceptable masks in all KTA Super Stores locations.

  • SANITIZE! We kindly ask that all visitors sanitize their hands and/or gloves before entrance.

    To properly sanitize your hands, rub the sanitizer over all the surfaces of your hands and fingers until your hands are dry. This should take around 20 seconds.
  • ARE YOU SICK? If you are exhibiting any Covid-19 symptoms identified by the CDC, please stay home. Individuals who are sick will be prohibited from entering the store.

  • SOCIAL DISTANCE Please keep 6 feet physical distance from other individuals on KTA premises wherever possible. Physical Distancing as set by Governor David Ige on Nov. 30, 2021 should be adhered to at all times.
     


 

Details on our Policies

Policy Update effective on Friday, August 27, 2021.

Please sanitize before entrance.

In compliance with Mayor Mitch Roth’s emergency proclamation (issued 8/25/21), sanitizing your hands or gloves before entering the store is required.

Rub the sanitizer over all the surfaces of your hands and fingers until your hands are dry. This should take around 20 seconds.

Customers may use the sanitizer provided by KTA Super Stores at the entrance, or they may choose to use their own sanitizer in front of the KTA Associate or guard on duty before entering the store.

 

Policy Update effective on Thursday, May 27, 2021.

MASK UP. We are still all in this together!

In compliance with Governor David Ige and Mayor Mitch Roth’s mandate on Tuesday, May 25, 2021, Hawaii is still required to wear face masks and coverings while indoors.

For the security and safety of our customers and associates, appropriate face masks and coverings are required at all times indoors at KTA Super Stores & KTA Express.

Policy Update effective on Sunday, August 2, 2020.

In accordance with Governor Ige’s emergency proclamation (issued 4/17) and in an effort to do everything possible to ensure the health and wellbeing of both our associates and customers, Face Masks/Coverings/Shields will be required for all customers 2 years of age or older. Masks with vents or mesh is not acceptable. Please see infographic below for acceptable masks in all KTA Super Stores locations.

To better protect our associates and customers, everyone will be required to wear a face mask/covering, which covers both the nose and mouth securely at all times on KTA premises. If a customer is unable to wear a face mask due to medical reasons, a face shield, which covers the nose and mouth, must be used. (Children 1 year of age and younger are exempt from this requirement per CDC guidelines.)

Face Shields are available for purchase. (Cash only)

In accordance with Mayor Harry Kim's emergency rule no. 10 (issued July 20) we may refuse to allow entry or service to a worker, customer, or patron that refuses to wear a face covering.

As recommended by the CDC, Face masks must be:
